Do you like to buy stuff?
Yeah, me too. Especially on eBay.
I used to get into bidding wars whenver I wanted something really bad, be it a pepper grinder or a bike, and more often than not, I’d lose.
Why? – Because the person on the other end would bid more at the last minute, leaving me behind with my heart racing and my shoulders dropped.
It took me a long time to figure this out, but eventually I did.
When you participate in a bidding war you’re bidding aginast yourself.
If you bid an hour before the auction ends, you’re making that visible to everyone else engaged in the war.
So they’re gonna bid too.
And then, what do you do?
You bid again.
But who raised the price just a minute ago by nidding?
Yeah it was you.
Do you get it now?
You just put yourself in a position to bid higher, simply because you placed a bid an hour ago.
Isn’t that silly?
What if there was a way to stop all this bidding insanity?
Well, now there is one.
You can bid once, and you can bid the one amount that you’re willing to pay.
It’s called sniping.
A bidding sniper allows you to place your bid a few seconds before the end of an auction.
If your bid was high enough, then no one else will have a chance to grab that item in the 3 – 5 seconds left.
And if your bid wasn’t high enough, you weren’t willing to pay more anyway.
So you win either way.
Go ahead and sign up here and start sniping.
In the next post I’ll show you how to use it (in case you can’t figure it out first)
